The author's contention that the U.S. is fighting terrorism on the wrong turf is hardly a new observation, nor does it provide an exit strategy out of the mess of political turmoil our presence has created in the Mid-East. While this does sort of "speak truth to power" and is good news in my own opinion, I can't call this good journalism, because it doesn't really present many facts and certainly not according to tried and true 4th estate rules. It describes the facts -- or at least the ones the author wants me to know about (& crow about). A typical personal-political web log, but that's it.
