A good analysis of how nothing has changed in the interpretation of original Bushie justifications of torture. The article shows the Justice Department basically ignored the Detainee Treatment Act and the Supreme Court’s decision in Hamdan and continued business as usual. That Bushies went to so much trouble to create "get out of jail" cards indicates they basically knew what they were doing was wrong.
