Welcome to the club, citizen journalists! That's the message of this report, which details how "The National Press Club, a 100-year-old professional club for journalists, aims to recruit new online-media members through a partnership with Helium.com, a hub for citizen journalists.' Sylvia Smith, president of NPC, said that the world is changing and so is journalism, but that "nothing changes the NPC's commitment to supporting high-quality journalism." Glad to hear it!

A good, short piece acknowledging the importance of citizen journalism and the impact the blogosphere has on traditional news sources and the wealth of information available to the world.
