Huckabee protests Washington caucus results

Huckabee's campaign chairman, Ed Rollins, said Luke Esser, Washington state's Republican Party chairman, chose to call the race too quickly for McCain.

Rollins said Huckabee was losing by 242 votes with 87 percent of the vote counted. He said there were 1,500 or so more votes that were apparently not counted. Full Story »

The article really includes the Huckabee vote counting story and the Democratic race. The Huckabee questioning of Washington State vote counting carries an ironic twist, since the state Republican party has been trying to scream that registration irregularities and vote counting errors have been stacked against them in the general elections. Out-of-staters might not know the background that Esser is a former state senator defeated in the last election.
