The editorial does a good job of describing the sorry candidates in what used to be a respectable republican party. The endorsement of McCain as the least worst may unfortunately give him too much credit, but it is all relative. I do not consider a prisoner of war a "war hero" but rather a war victim. McCain's flip-flop pandering to the religious reich wing is only lightly chastised. McCain's advocacy of permanent military occupation of Iraq in neocolonialism for oil is not ... More »
