When it comes to covering the war in Iraq, McClatchy Newspapers has always done things a bit differently. An excellent piece on a blind spot in Western coverage of Iraq - the opinions and experiences of the more ordinary people of Iraq. This piece attempts to fill the gap. It still mostly focuses on the more educated sectors of the Iraqi population. At least it tries to draw attention to views that may be unpopular and/or taboo in the Western main stream media.
