Holding up a banner written with "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" singing the "Auld Lang Syne," and reading the names of U.S. soldiers and Iraqis killed in the war, eight members of the Voices for Creative Nonviolence gathered outside the Locust Street office of Huckabee to protest his decision not to reply to a letter the group sent to him two months ago. The corporate pro-war press seldom reports war protests; this story highlights a protest that spotlights the RIGHT reverend Mike (Elmer Gantry) Huckabee favoring the continued murder of Iraqis to steal their oil in an illegal and immoral invasion and occupation based upon lies. "Who would Jesus bomb" strikes the chord of irony here. A liar and a thief should not cut and run, he should stick the knife in further and steal all the goods. Makes me want to pray.
