This story is the first bit of self-criticism I have seen the major networks make of themselves. The true test will be if CNN follows up on this story every day for the next two months as if it were another celebrity melt down. Ironically the Quick Vote of the day asked "Do you crave celebrity gossip?" 91% of respondents replied NO.
