Preachers in the “prosperity gospel” movement are drawing sizable, adoring audiences. Their message — that if you have sufficient faith in God and the Bible and donate generously, God will multiply your offerings a hundredfold — is reassuring to many in hard times. This brief account of a religious convention doesn't go into sufficient depth on the prosperity gospel movement, or its history of fleecing people.

Jesus was very clear on this point: the path of life leads to the cross. This prosperity gospel stuff is self-serving garbage.
