Foreign Fighters in Iraq Are Tied to Allies of U.S.

Saudi Arabia and Libya, both considered allies by the United States in its fight against terrorism, were the source of about 60 percent of the foreign fighters who came to Iraq in the past year to serve as suicide bombers or to facilitate other attacks, according to senior American military officials. Its American propaganda material woven into a story picked from out of thin air and attributed to "military sources." The source of the story was the raid on six tents near the Syrian border and alleged "terrabytes" of data taken from "those tents." Only the American military maintain terrabytes of data which is why both China and the former Soviets have such a wealth of info on the US...it's almost a steal.

Would liked to have seen more space devoted to this discovery's implications to Bush/Cheney's case for war with Iran. There is, however, 2 short paragraphs on Iran about 3/4ths through.
