A Swiss businessman has been jailed in Tripoli, the Libyan capital, on immigration violation charges, an action widely seen as retaliation for the arrest of Gaddafi's son. The author, the WaPo's bureau chief is on his third posting to Africa. He brings in a lot of examples and interviews local ordinary citizens. Some links to background info would be nice.
