Bhadrakumar paints a picture that's far more conspiratorial and skeptical of the American role in the upcoming Afghani elections. He does, however, bring solid information to the table, and considers the role of Pakistan, and ethnic tensions within Afghanistan, in a way that the Washington Post piece on this topic (linked) does not.

Some of the sources in this article are questionable. The sources used to indicate United States positions are baffling and those sources cause concerns of other comments.
