The style of the piece is a bit over the top and approaches a rant in places. I would be inclined to label this an opinion piece rather than an analysis.
McGovern brings into the story many events and statements that make it a believable story that Cheney Bush would launch an offensive attack against Iran in the interest of the right wing Israeli government. The story is important background for disecting the motivations behind the war propaganda.
This story tied in many troublesome issues. It's not just Bush/Cheney warmongering, but the capitulation of the Congress for the sake of financial support from AIPAC's coffers. Kudos to Israel for knowing how to play our government like a flute, but shame on us for allowing them -- or anyone else (and we all know there are others) -- to do so.
