'Blasphemer' attacked in Pakistan

An angry crowd in southern Pakistan attacks the house of a woman accused of desecrating the Koran, police say.

Police officials said the woman was taken into protective custody minutes before protestors broke into her house.

It is the latest in a series of attacks on religious grounds. On Saturday seven Christians were killed for allegedly desecrating the Koran.

This is an interesting story about lack of tolerance in Pakistan and the use of false or at best non-confirmed actions.

This is a concerning issue, but how different is it from the mob responses at town meetings with members of Congress?
