Parry provides an excellent historical portrait of the hypocritical republicans ridicule of any anger against them, and blatant misuse of anger by them against democrats. Well written and supported.

I think Parry lets the press off a little too easily for supporting and echoing the the ridicule of anger and the megaphoning of anger depending on who was in the majority.
