This is one of the best articles I’ve read about NewsTrust lately [Disclosure: I am NewsTrust's executive director, and a primary source for this story]. Steve Outing's excellent report gives a factual, balanced and thorough overview on NewsTrust.net. It offers useful context about some of the challenges faced by online news consumers, then examines objectively the strengths and weaknesses of NewsTrust's methodology. I would have liked to hear independent perspectives from other sources, but the author does a great job at presenting different sides of the story, to help give the big picture about this new service. Most importantly, this article is quite accurate, as seen from my perspective. Highly recommended.
