An editorializing story that focuses on the likelihood and the politics of impeachment and does not take a serious look at the constitutional and legal grounds for impeaching Bush--and Cheney-- until 'graphs 24 and 30; politics is conflated with law in an unhelpful way. And which is it: the Seattle Times or the KC Star we are reading?

The article sounds like an attempt to immunize fellow former Bush-lovers and political triangulizers against considering the clear and present danger of an administration that is destroying democracy and rule of law in this country, and threatening more wars in the immediate future. This article is all he-said, she-said, with no real investigation of the charges and issues.
