The Raw Story (often shortened to Rawsto) is a progressive Internet news publication founded by John K. Byrne and later joined by Larisa Alexandrovna. Rawstory is known primarily for its investigative reporting, but also provides hourly updates of news gathered from around the globe. The duo of Byrne and Alexandrovna (who is known as LaLa in the blogosphere) have produced extensive original pieces and have cultivated a large readership.
