Rory OConnor is a documentary filmmaker and journalist. He has directed, written and/or produced numerous films and television programs for ABC, PBS and other TV outlets. His broadcast and film work has been honored with a George Polk Award, a Writers Guild Award, two Emmys, an Iris, a Cine Gold Eagle, and many other awards. He oversees the not-for-profit MediaChannel.org website, and publishes a blog called "Media is a Plural."
