Forbes is an American business and financial magazine founded in 1917 by B.C. Forbes. After his death in 1954 and his son Bruce's death in 1964, it was long synonymous with his flamboyant second son Malcolm Stevenson Forbes (19171990). Today, the company, which also has online and broadcast operations, is headed by Malcolm Stevenson "Steve" Forbes Jr. (1948) and his brothers. The magazine is headquartered on Fifth Avenue in New York City. The current editor is William Baldwin; the current managing editor is Dennis Kneale; the publisher is Richard Karlgaard.
