Republicans muscled a budget through the House of Representatives in April that they said would take an important step toward reducing the federal deficit. Introduced by U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, the plan kept Medicare intact for people 55 or older, but dramatically changed the program for everyone else by privatizing it and providing government subsidies. Full Story »

after years of GOP attempted slashes at services to citizens.... the dems fight back with fire...the only problem ...they do not solve any problems themselves...due to their position in the pocket of big insure/pharma.etc. ...ASK what is the plain spoken opinion of the 99%. ....We want health care for everyone...let it be payed for via fair taxes....especially( more than at present) of the rich. Most people wonder why big pharma gets to make the rules and buy the legislation. fact check strangle un-curious.
