I thought story was very informative, i was not aware of the profits being taken in from these organizations. Although this is true organizations such as the NIIt they are not robbing the people of there money...they are providing technology. I really liked this quote, “Being poor isn’t about not having money, it’s a lack of capabilities”. The poor need technologies that will not inhibit them and will prvide them with the technology they need.

I only read this article becasue i have a twitter and i only have it becaseu som eother close friedns have one so it helps me keep in contact with them. For the most part i see twitter as "mismy" and boring. I see what this person is doing in trying to get voice out of people and to move out of the comfortable zone. I dont really know what is the point of this experiment, i wish it was clearly stated in this piece.
This was a informative piece. I would have liked to see a quote from an actual soldier and what he thinks about the issue. The writer seems to give all the soldiers a voice saying that "soldiers arent convinced". It is interesting to see the mental effects that are going on with the soldiers there. I also would have liked to see an actual example of a soldier struggling.
I liked this peice becasue it felt like it was unbaised and balanced. It gave angles and sides for all the views. I liked that it provided a quote from Dr Ayman Qais. The writter presents the other side of the story by saying that UN will begin an investigation. The only thing i did not like about this story is that it did not provide where this quote came from, "the cleaning up of toxic materials used by the occupying forces, including depleted uranium and white phosphorus".

Although the reporter seems to be well informed, the reason why i don't think this story is very factual is because i feel as though the study done was very one sided. I feel as though they could have also used another letter for the experiment. I like how the reporter presents different sides to the story and peoples opinions about the study.I would like to conclude that i do not think this piece is quality journalism. I didn't really learn anything new, i wasn't surprised, i also ... More »
I thought this article was quality journalism because they were able to report all that went on in the conference. They used various quotes said by Mr. Karzai and various descriptive expressions. Although this is occurring in Afghanistan it is relevant to the U.S..
This article was lacking quotes. It talks a lot about the history of spain and how the past is now affecting the possible outcome of Spain.
Yes i think this is quality journalism. I would have liked if the writer would have compared the current health care system to Switzerland's in detail. I thought this opinion piece was very insightful, i was not aware that Switzerland's heatlh care system compared to others is really good.
Yes it is, becasue it is very insightful. It not only discusses the health care issue that is going on now but it talks about the effects of it in the future. This is the type of news that should be more avialble like; how this one current issue now will effect us or others in the future.
I didnt think this was quality journalism. I wish this article compared google wave to twitter or facebook; seeing that google wave will become the next big thing on the web. Most of what is mentioned in this article is known.
I believe this article is quality journalism. The article gave a little background on the Nobel Piece Prize. It also discussed what other presidents have won it and why Obama was nominated this time around. It provided a good amount of material from "both sides of the story".
I think this is quality journalism. The title really intrigued me into reading this article. It is also well written and very informative. i just learned how i might think if i were a dentist!
This is more of an opinion peice. Although i see his point, the beginning of this peice did not intrigue me to continue reading. There are only two small paragraphs specifically talking about the internet; the rest have to do with the Neo-Nazi's. I dont think this qualifies as quality journalism. The writer should have gone in depth a little bit more.
I gathered a lot of new information form this article. I do think tihs is quality journalism. I like how it states the issue with the facilty found and how it mihgt or might not be a threat right now. Tha article contains a lot of information but the writer does a great job to make it concise and clear.
There was great information shared although most of what is said are based on estimates. I thought this article was interesting, especially now where much of our news is about the healthcare in the U.S.
I didnt really enjoy reading this article. Also much of the facts are taken from Palin's comments, which can be untrue or changed. I think the writer could have done a better job; maybe make it strictly informative without any bias, seeing that she is from Alaska.
I thought this was a great written article. The writer did not just present facts but revealed more on how to understand them. She also presented a lot of research to make this article seem factual.
