I find it interesting that this issue is being resolved over four years after the disaster that was Hurricane Katrina. The people of Southern Louisiana dealt with a loss that is hard to compare to any disaster. More information needs to come forward about this issue so that the victims of Katrina can finally gain some justice.

This was definitely a necessary article and hopefully the first of many exploring the different lives that go under the radar. Many, since the unfortunate incident at Ft. Hood, have focused solely on the soldier who administered the killings, but not on the other individual cases. indeed the incident deserves attention but so do the other cases.
This gives insightful information on just how many Americans are suffering with the current economic struggles. The information is well founded and easily trusted due to adequate support
I'm sure this might have been a valuable opinion if presented in a manner that sounded educated and well founded on factual information. However, this opinion piece focuses too heavily on creating a shock factor by using vulgarity which illuminates any credibility. This piece consists of mainly speculation and unfounded assertions.
This story shows an interesting analysis of the gap between age groups when it comes to issues dealing with both health and politics. It offers personal reflection of those who are most immediately effected.
This New York Times article about Health Care is good journalism because it reveals an entire process and really informs the reader before bombarding them with opinions or accusations. It gives a detailed history of the development of medicine and the contradictions within the practice. It also highlights the fact that some patients are unknowingly receiving better treatment for the same conditions.
This article did an amazing job of delivering quality, well-founded information while also pulling at the emotional attention of the reader.
This article does give factual information on the errors made in the amending of the Texas constitution, but i feel it delivers said information in a biased light. It could have done a better job in representing the legislators.
If for no other reason, this is quality journalism because it brings attention and awareness to the disabled community. It gives that community an insight to the availability of something they may have been missing. I would recommend the article to any of my friends with disabilities who might be looking for a way to connect with other who share their lifestyle.
This is one of the most insightful articles I've read on gay marriage, including my research on the issue. It brings an important aspect into the popular debate centered on the topic of gay rights by introducing the effects this debate has on people. Many do not include children in the discussion and the benefits posed are indeed notable.
Again, this is a topic not touched upon in mainstream news because it does not seem to directly effect the community at large. but if analyzed more deeply, one would realize that the use or ban of "touch screen" voting machines affects the entire community of voters. something that simplifies a task for part of the community completely disenfranchises another part. For that reason alone it arise attention and evokes interest while being pertinent to a massive audience. Therefore yes ... More »
It triggers the accurate response of interest and concern. It is a subject matter that goes undetected by audience members outside of the disabled community. The content alerts the "outsiders" to the struggles even paralympic athletes face in their field and highlights the need for equality in recognition.

I believe this article is an example of quality journalism in the sense that it is well researched and offers a new topic that goes unnoted by those whom it does not affect. however in the closing of the article, the content seems incomplete and leaves much to be explained and researched. The scenario was interesting but unclear as to which point the author was attempting to support.
It is presented in an objective manner that gives an insightful view to the motivations behind the themes of "The Cosby Show". Very informative as to the creator of the show's point of view.
Ther piece is well written in the sense that it is a narrative of a personal encounter, but is only presented form a singular perspective. It doesn't explore both sides of the potentially race fueled attack on the reporter. Based heavily on personal opinion and experience.
