American History has shown large contempt for new religions and races that have come to live in our Country. Each race/religion has had to overcome such hatred and discrimination. It takes wisdom, love and compassion to support the constitution of the United States of American so we can truly promote "Liberty and Justice for All." It continues to show that we need to learn this lesson: The only way to change someone is change the way we think of them - Will Bowen "Complaint Free Relationships."

This is a well rounded story. It presents the facts without a liberal or conservative slant. Fred Kalpan seems to be a real reporter void of political slant.

This is terrible journalism because when you invade a country and blow the crap out of it, you repair it. One way to win hearts and minds is to help rebuild religious structures that are destroyed in battle. We did the same thing in Germany and Japan after WWII. Christians have to stop with this hate mongering and start to focus on unity of humanity no matter what religious beliefs.

Politicians, "Pundant's" and Media that state that anchor babies increase the chance of their parents citizenship is absolutely "False." This is another ridiculous statement by those who wish to create hatred for our brothers and sisters of Hispanic origin and to divide the races. We have to stop listening to this hate speech and start finding and supporting ways that we can live and thrive together. Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door! – Statue of Liberty

It is important for all Americans to realize that it's not just the BP oil spill that is destroying our oceans, lakes, rivers and creeks. We dump millions of tons of pollutants in all our bodies of water every day from strip mining, oil drill, factory waste dumping and many other means of pollution. We Americans are constantly ignoring the destruction of our eco systems and most people don't care. Why? We are so concerned about our government deficit but we could care less about the environment. Future generations will not enjoy our planet they way we did unless we all invest in our politics and love for our lands and water ways.

II agree that transparency is good but names of soldiers and civilians have to be left off information to protect the safety of said individuals and their families. No matter what your opinion of the US involvement in Afghanistan and Pakistan you have to protect all those involved for evil or good. We have to let the politicians and military figure out the best course of action now that we are already fighting this conflict. You don't have to like it. This why it is so important that "ALL" Americans get involved in politics because those in charge are making decisions on our behalf.

No this is bad journalism. The majority of scientist studying the BP Gulf oil spill disaster overwhelmingly agree the damage to the gulf will be extensive and at least 30 years to fully recover.
