I feel that our president tried to make larger cuts with greater reforms; mainly to include additional revenues. The Tea Party and their very extreme views fed the Republicans to stand with them. Obama created this problem of the Republicans and Tea Parties not believing him; since he gave the store away literly when he compromised to far on the Health Care Bill. Further IMO he did not make it clear when he spoke to the Nation of his iron clad "Line in the Sand" as he should have. He needs to fix this ongoing weakness.

Indeed the state of New York should sue and if there is a dispute over rights, that is clearly a case for the Supreme Court as per the Constitution.
