It's an op-ed piece, so editorial bias is a given. But it's a very well done op-ed piece, with plenty of solid information accompanying the opinings and a well-constructed set of premises. It doesn't just present a problem, it suggests solutions as well.

Live-blogging the trial is a lot of work for the writers, but it's timely and informative and it's generally worth reading along. The people at FDL are well-known to be partisan, though, so the reader has to bear that editorial bias in mind.
