A very good analysis on the upcoming election process and the influx of unlimited campaign ads and how they may be conteracted.

Very good article. The analysis and facts are very detailed and accurate. President Obama promised that "YES WE CAN" and not "YES I CAN"! There are too many powerful interests that fight against any changes being made to the status quo and as good citizens we must ALL work together to protect our democracy from being compromised and taken from us by corporate interests, and relegating us to fight to protect their "interests" with our blood! YES WE CAN!!

This story is well researched and tells a story that will eventually effect all Americans, not just the poor and elderly. The decline of citizens rights always start with the most vernable and moves to the larger middle class. We should all protest this action by the likes of any public official who strives to take away our most basic rights.

These are a bunch of facts thrown together to make a distort. Some of the riches Americans pay very little taxes due to tax loopholes that middle class and low income cannot take advantage of.

This is stating the simple economic facts of our current tax system, that opress the poor and middle class and coddles the super-rich.

Why is our government slowly decending the defense our our nation into the hands of the private sector? We could be at the mercy of profit driven military-industrial corporations and their war profiteering. Once our government has handed over to contractors major chunks of military functions and the military is no longer equipped to handle our defense, we are a country will be at their mercy. The military will no longer be controlled by the people, but by corporate greed. Who knows what that would look like. Considering what I read in this article, it doesn't look good. Are we as Americans just giving away our democracy to private interest and not to the people's interest?

This is the mother of all "entitlement programs"! These same republicans support cuts to medicare, social security, education, and scientific research. They want to eliminate Unions rights, cut education and all programs of the federal government that us for the benefit of it's citizenry. They want the government (taxpayer's money) for themselves only and without paying their fair share of the tax burden. They also are quick to ask our military to protect "American Interest" in ...
