I am 69 years old, retired military, retired engineer. Have traveled most countries in the far east and south east asia. I am interested in following political news and watching the hilarious, but embarrassing politicl antics since Obama (I resent all of his policies and indeptness, totally unqualified for his position and should be impeached for derelection of duty) becane our president. Bush was bad enough, but this guy... I hope this membership can inform me of real news and not the dribble given on the major new broadcasts, including the suppossedly conservative stations.

Anyone who addresses this as a problem is 100%% correct. Homosexuals should not be open in the military. Male and female dormitories are still segregated, officially. As retired military, I do not want to share a latrine/shower with a homosexsual, and would not. How will the military segregate homosexuals? Most military men and women that I kow feel the same as I do. But, as most people (military personnel are people too), practicing homosexuals are an abomination. If you want to practice homosexualty, stay out of the military. Do what you do behind closed doors, it is your busliness and has no place in a country founded on Christian principles. If this president wants to be reelected, let him couirt 99% of Americans, not 1%.

Raising the retirement age only exsaperates the problem. Something akin to a death panel, that is not supposed to happen. We need people in Washington that understand the problems of Americans, not ... More »
