I thought this was a pretty good article. Its extremely relevant because the tornadoes just struck in the past few days. It seemed to be pretty well sourced and was mixed with a few strongly sounding quotes. It could use some links to better help with sourcing, but the graphic is a pretty good addition to the story.

This should be a blog not a news article. There are a lot of things seriously wrong with this article. First off there are no good quotes, sources, investigative information, or anything to make this a respectable journal article. It gives a good story about a ballgame experience and that fans getting a little drunk but that's about it. This sounds like a seen from any football, hockey, baseball, or soccer game. This is a normal and typical seen at professional sports events. The fighting, drinking, and skimpy clothing has become part of the professional sports culture. This does not make it right, but something that won't be changed anytime soon. Though I don't condone any of these actions it would be wise not to write an ... More »

This article displays very good journalism and is extremely relevant. This is the type of story that can make a journalist highly reputable and noteworthy for their investigation. It had a great balance of quotes and information and captivated the reader to be interested to read it to the end. The author of this article should take a lot of pride for the work they put into this story.

This article does not do a good job with giving sources and it would be much more insightful with the addition of quotes. It is very informative but should source the information to make a more trustworthy publication. The issue itself is very interesting and relevant because this issue is a hot topic right now. This article had potential but fell short, with a little more effort in documenting sources and getting good quotes on the topic this article is an arms length away from being very good.

I think this lacked a lot of thing unfortunately because it is a very good relevant topic. It lacked being well sourced and certainly lacked quotes. I think if a little more time and effort was put into this it could have been more well rounded and left more of an impact on the reader. Schaefer was a very important public official to Baltimore City so people will be enticed to read this article, but not that highly impressed with the way it was put together.

I think this was a good idea for a human interest story. It is important to see the different sides of inmates being rehabilitated and not looking at them all as violent monsters. It is pleasant for the reader to see people making positive changes and turning around their lives. One major critical analysis I would offer is the length. The story is just a little too long and if it were to be shortened up it would keep the readers attention a bit longer. Online stories need to be shorter over the nature of people being so quick to click onto the next thing because people get bored quicker online. Besides that the overall structural format is pretty good with a healthy balance between quotes and information.

Way too much opinion and speculation here. It needs more facts and more sourced information. Plenty of information was listed but no real sources. "many scientists" is not good enough for sourcing, specific scientists with real quotes would be more appropriate. This piece was not professional and did not use professional language. It was poorly structured and over sensationalized. I actually carry more of a similar opinion as this author but would not dare to write something like this without a more solidly grounded factual amount of information to back up what is stated.

I think the journalism on this article is pretty descent. I actually knew nothing about this story so its pretty intriguing to read about this historical monumental event that took place in Baltimore. Next time i visit these areas I will think about what happened there many years ago. I think what could have helped this article is more quotes for reliable sources and maybe thoughts from people from the local community to add some opinion in there other than just facts. I think the article is pretty relevant to the area and being the anniversary of this event. It is not really enterprising or adds any news information but offers a piece of history that many people probably don't know much about.

This article is really relevant for the Baltimore area especially because of the struggle for good leadership since Schaefer's reign. The second half of the article maybe could have been a little more balanced between facts and quotes because it feels as if there are just too many quotes. One reason why this article is so relevant is because it helps give the younger generation an idea of the past leadership that has helped to shape Baltimore and what it is going to take to have a good leader again. This article is obviously a little less objective and the author already had has opinion on the previous Governor before this was written, it does not include many negatives about his career so may be a little less balanced. Either ... More »

This article I found very informative and interesting. I had not heard anything about this and its quite engaging. Anything new and positive that has to do with Baltimore's beloved Edgar Allan Poe is worth a read. The article was decently sourced but its relevance is why I found this article so enjoyable.

This story definitely had its pros and cons. Imagery was good except for the movie image, it takes away from the article. The article is pretty relevant to people who fish and spend a lot of time on the water, but that is about it. It is definitely an interesting article to read for the non fisherman also. There was some awkward phrasing and wording in a few places which interrupted the flow of the article. It was good to see the author use a few links to help add extra information and help with sourcing.

Hopefully the rebuilding process comes soon. It would be nice to have a lot more in depth information about the future planning of CVP

I think it is definitely an interesting article to bring to light. Immigration is everywhere and these stories you can find pretty much anywhere across America. I think the article is good in a sense that is more fair towards the Brazilians, but could use a little more depth on the subject.
