The writer asked very important questions that for some reason our government refused to ask before approving the bailout. Well written and will hopefully bring more much needed attention to the issue.
It is scary how similar McCain and Obama's views are on the fundamental issues, they only differ on petty issues. It will make little difference ... More »

Reports - Only Nader Is Right on the Issues
See All NT Reviews » NT Rating: 5.0
The article is short and just scratches the surface but I gave it a rating of 5.0 because it is one of very few articles that covered Nader and his bid for President.
Independent Presidential candidate Ralph Nader has received very little media coverage. As this article states, he is the only candidate that has ... More »
Interesting Op-ed about how McCain could be losing a lot of Jewish voters to Obama or Nader because of Palin's very controversial views on religion. The writer brings up many examples of why the Jewish voter and other non-christian's are or should be scared to vote for the McCain/Palin ticket. Well written, but there are many more examples that the writer neglected to mention.
The best overview I have seen of the Ron Paul/Third Party Candidate news conference that was held on 9/10. Some extremely important issues were discussed; the author did a nice job of summarizing them and the press conference in general.
Overview of a news conference held by Ron Paul with third party candidates Ralph Nader and others. Ron Paul officially announced he will not endorse fellow Republican John McCain but instead is supporting all third party candidates. I watched the news conference and this is a good but very brief overview of most of the topics and issues discussed. It should have discussed further why Paul is sponsoring third party candidates and what four major issues all these third party candidates agreed to.
Gives summary of Gordon Browns (Prime Minister of England) editorial in The Monitor magazine, a British publication. Includes interesting information about the last time a Prime Minister of England endorsed a U.S. Presidential candidate and how it backfired. Interesting piece but short.
Excellent article that shows several examples of how McCain stretched the truth or blatantly lied about Obama.
Interview with Presidential candidate Ralph Nader. Nader discusses the lack of media attention for his campaign, his opinion of the other candidates and his belief that corporations have too much influence over the other candidates and the U.S. government. Very interesting and well written piece.
Superbly written story about how the author met and fell in love with a Columbian leading a secret double life as an assassin while covering the conflict in Colombia.
This article has excellent reputable sources, is unbiased and brings to light yet another important, crucial story that the mainstream media has not picked up.
Interesting article about what is really behind the border fence that will be constructed on the Texas/Mexico border. The writer had trouble getting much out of the DHS and the federal government. It would have made for a more informative, less biased piece if they were able to extract more information from them and hear the full story from both sides of the fence (pun intended).
One of the best, most well written articles I have read on election reform. Birngs to light many excellent ideas and theories on how to improve the way we vote.
It is nice to see all Republican Presidential candidates agree that global warming is real and most agree it is due to humans. This article discusses the different opinions the Republican candidates have about how to deal with global warming. Well written.
This carefully researched report provides a heretofore unavailable framework for examining how the U.S. war in Iraq came to pass. Clearly, it calls into question the repeated assertions of Bush administration officials that they were the unwitting victims of bad intelligence. I do not understand how Bush and Cheney have not been impeached.
Interesting blog post. Brings to light many important topics and issues that the leading Presidential candidates never talk about.
Brings to light new questions and confusion about exactly who was behind Bhutto's assassination and how it was carried out.
Very detailed, and seems like a very accurate account of what happened based on his interview with the whistle blower. Excellent article.
A depressing but true editorial about the demise of the United States. All great empires come to an end and as this author states the United States is starting to decay from within and fall apart. He gives several examples to prove this. Although he does briefly compare the fall of the U.S. to past empires and superpowers such as the Soviet Union, Roman and Ottoman, this article would have been a lot better if he gave more specific comparisons and examples.
Another example of how corrupt our government has become and the negative affect it has on the Iraq war. Good article.
Author explains why he thinks Bush should be impeached based on the revelation they knowingly and illegally exposed Plame as a CIA agent. He does an excellent job of backing up his opinion by comparing it to Nixon's impeachment.
Interesting poll that shows how unhappy Americans have become with the U.S. government and the direction our country is going.

All of these questions should have been asked by Congress and the Senate before they approved the bailout. I don't understand why they held several ... More »
