Not really quality news because it is more about their opinion and trying to make news where it may not really exist. Makes me think of gossip. Trying to make something up before it is fact. Strictly and opinion piece.
I agree that it cannot be just the church who got something voted in. Surely California Citizens were there to vote as well as the Mormons in CA on Nov. 4th? The gays should have put more money and effort into their cause if it meant that much to them.
I was expecting to be disappointed by this article, but frankly I found it very good despite the tiresome subject. I thought the reporter was thorough in their research and it was a well thought out article and very relevant to today's events.
I don't get the sense the reporter was out in the field gathering data, but just reading other news sources or the internet. I think this is sensationalizing something that is easy to sensationalize. Kind of like pulling this out of the back pocket to have something for Monday. Why is this the first I have heard of it of this problem since Obama's election? I live in Atlanta, and race relations has improved greatly since the election.
THis is what I expect of journalism. Factual, offering *some opinion* but really just sticking to the facts of a subject that is currently relevant. The reporter did not sensationalize this material to have an article. They found the subject that was relevant and wrote about it. THANKS
It was an article that held no suprises. I like how the reporter gave us the what the findings suggested, and did not conclude it for the reader. Kind of boring subject matter.
It comes across as imformative and factual, albeit somewhat based on economic opinion of the reporter.. it is opinion from experience in stocks. The reporter is not coming from left field with these ideas.
