Glenn Greenwald is an excellent news source. He's well reasoned, well researched, and articulate. This article in particular draws the lines that create the image of the fascist state we're living in today by comparison to, by our own definitions, to other nations we consider fascist.

Unusually good journalism for this source. Excellent analysis of the possible causes and effects from this segment of the financial collapse.

I haven't heard much about this issue. The article gives a lot of anecdotal evidence to illustrate the impact of the rules of the banking system.

This article as an argument does an excellent job of stating all the key points for impeachement of cheney and bush. He also points out the reasons why the Democrats should be behind the hearings.

Just another piece of evidence, albeit well sourced evidence, that the motive for going into Iraq wasn't WMD.

I would like to know who those violent splinter groups are. There is no evidence provided to suggest that there was great risk of violence except Mr. Cullen's word. It's always good to have any coverage of protests. Most in this country are grossly undercovered.

The subject matter is very important. There are a couple of issues excluded from this story-many PhD candidates need a post-doc or two to be competitive in industry and many ideas do not come from private industry, they come from the academic world where many post docs do the very time consuming and expensive research that is then utilized by business. Cutting off funding also reduces the number of professors to continue education.

The author did cover this story well. I didn't understand these loans when speaking with a lender, but now I feel I now understand these loans a little bit more. The only thing I haven't heard with regards to this story is how it resembles the international monetary fund practice of lending money to countries that they know they will not be able to pay off and then swooping in and taking all assets.

This is a biased piece in that there is no side presented from the government's point of view. That being said, the authors make an excellent case to illustrate their point.

This is good journalism because it is important story to realize how our pool of affordable housing is being bought up and gentrified. This is the situation on steroids. There are far too few stories on the displacement of the poor.

Mr. Jamail has extensively covered the Iraq war from an unembedded perspective. He brings sources from outside the US government sanctioned few. This opinion column effectively supports his views by 'following the money'.

This is just one example of bias in our writings about this conflict. Christians are viewed as self aware and the Muslims are viewed as violent and explosive. There is no real perspective presented as to why the reaction to such words may cause an outcry.

Good investigation into another system in which the government collects information. I would also like a cost analysis for programs like this. Not many journalists examine the amount of money that goes into these 'broad net' and probably unconstitutional searches. I also would like to know if there is a secure system in place to protect this information or is it like the veteran's information that was found on a laptop.

This is another undercovered story regarding the real concerns with genetically altered foods for pharma. I would have liked to see what the judge's rationale was in this decision(""This is probably the strongest message yet to USDA that they need to do a much better job at regulating all genetically engineered crop field trials," said Bill Freese of the Center for Food Safety, noting that about a dozen pharma permits are approved in a typical year. "They've been rubber-stamping for too long, and they need to get serious about these crops." But the judge rejected the groups' broader claim that APHIS had broken its promise to improve its overall system of oversight").

I have suspicions, but I'd like to know why the Taliban would supposedly go from next to zero production of poppies to producing 95% of the world's opium. I would like to know why they waited to be ousted from power to then control so much of Afghanistan. This is a story that needs to be fleshed out.

The story of the election in Mexico seemingly disappeared after the first protest. This story doesn't even mention the party of Lopez Obrador but uses language that is not necessarily flattering to describe him-leftist. Also, the article grossly underestimates the number of protestors on Sunday-2 million as reported on Democracy Now.

This story of Mexico's election makes it sound like they're going to recount the ballots, but it seems that they have not. The recount was of the tallies from a few polls. The headline is misleading.
