This story helps readers get a real idea of who Donald Trump is. With the debate questions followed by his dirty worded answers, the format helps the audience feel as if they were in attendance at the conference. If it was a bit longer with information about Trumps future plans if he runs for president, the article would have been more insightful. Overall the story was still relevant and entertaining.
Although the story is written well and original, it sounds a bit one sided in the tone since the San Francisco Chronicle is the main subject and this story is from this publication. The story is relevant and brings up a great point about what journalism is coming to. Although SFC used information from the White House to support their opposing position on the recording journalist, there was still a strong one-sided tone throughout the story.
This story heightens the idea of domestic violence and how much it is ignored amongst the younger generation. Opening with the very touching anecdote about the lacrosse player who was a victim to domestic violence, did a great job of bringing reality to the subject. This article was well written in a language that could be understood by a younger audience and also offers sources for help with domestic violence to young readers.
This story was relevant. Willie Don was very influential in the Baltimore Area and always encouraged change for the better. The story would have been a bit more factual if it contained a few direct quotes from some of Dons closest friends or colleagues. Although it lacked expert ... More »

Very insightful and informative article. The article shows the audience further info and footage of the shocking and devastating destruction of the tornadoes n the South. The author also gives insight on what the local and national government are planning to do to help. The video of Obama was also a great add-on to the story and the photos of the aftermath. Great Job.

The author did a great job of reporting about the tornado and its aftermath. Great insight on its damage and how it affected so many lives. Very touching ending about the Officer who sacrificed his life for his young daughter. Overall this story was informative and meaningful.
The story is very relevent and timely but could use some good sources to make it more accurate. A direct quote from Vicky Thomswould have been useful in this story since she is praised in this story. This seems more of a follow up story that an actual hard news story.
I gave this story a five for originality. Right now, there are plenty of articles about Schaefer that were written by reporters or other politicians so it's nice to here a different perspective. It's very interesting to gain insight from a cartoonist. The drawings really helped string the story along and capture the relationship held by Schaefer and and the author.

This story really gave the audience a glimpse of Willie Don's character. Especially if the reader is not familiar with the late Governor. The author was very original and creative in the way he added the comics to emphasize his opinion of Don and to let the audience see for themselves. It did not sound like news it just sounded like a great-first person story.
