This "gotcha" journalism is right out of the Mike Wallace playbook, with a right wing slant. Beck can't even read the cue correctly. This is in no way journalism. He's a paid, and paid very well, to spout the conservative agenda.

Member (since November 2008)I've been on Newstrust.net six months now. In that time I have given hundreds of reviews and read thousands of articles. I usually try and start my day by writing a few reviews because most of what newspapers I read are already on the site. While I have a disagreement with the founders of Newstrust, like when they hide one of my reviews from public and won't tell you why, I'm basically proud of the work I and the other reviewer's do. Because, without the people who review this site, there would be no site. So, I'll hang around for awhile, if permitted, and keep on keeping on.

Rush doing his famous act of lying to gullible people isn't journalism by any stretch of anyone's imagination. The thing is, there are people who believe he can walk on water. He's done more harm to this country than George Bush, and thats saying something!
I don't know what Shepard is smoking to talk about the public option in a positive way. I've read a few things on other blogs about this. The Senator as usual, is spouting the same views as the party of NO!
This article is well written and researched. While HuPo is basically a liberal blog, the arthor uses various other resources to get a good point across. The right's heathcare plan is "Don't get sick".
A mostly sit on the couch and and watch the Sunday show article. I like the article, but there was nothing anyone else could not have written.
The Arthur, while citing statistics, seems to be relying on hope, more than facts. I find this disquieting.
This Time author knows the area he covers. He writes a very good review of the election, for America. I wouldn't say bias. Maybe, hopeful optimism.
If a pebble drops in the sands of the middle east, will it make a sand storm around the world. Maybe, maybe not?
Mr. Hiatt, You're the first. The first one to stump me completely, solidly, and I hope, not permanatantely. While every point you make has merit, I can argue everyone, all day with you. I hate to do this, but, hear's a cigar.
The man is right. You either make this work, or capitalism, as it is , is fool's gold. If a two-part system can not, and I stress can not, find a ... More »
I would bet my last dollar, and yes I'm down to my last dollar, that he will ram this through Congress by Hook or by Crook.
A 5.0. From me. To a journalist. No way, Jose. If a profession has to die, and I think they are burying it way to soon, you can't go out on a higher note.
A journalist is an integral part of society. They find the people who steal our money. That's basically what they do. I know, they cover wars, etc, ... More »
As well as can be written considering the subject. Mom, Pie, and GM being sold isn't exactly a subject a journalist can "sink" his teeth in.
Hate to see it. Makes me mad. Wish it didn't have to happen. But, theres always a but, I don't hear alot of other people knocking down GM's door.
On a scale of 1-10, well, lets make a bigger scale. Obama has a scale of his own and this article proves it. Some speech and some article.
Let's see. If you hit a home run, it's four bases. What if you run to five bases. What is that called? That's called me with a lump in my throat, ... More »
The author tells of another claim by a White woman, claiming she and her daughter were kidnapped, and the reaction that it has brought..
With the conservatives out of office, you will be hearing more and more of these claims. With our first black president, there is resentment not ... More »
A fair and balanced report ( is this FOX) on Obama , the speech, the public's reaction and some thoughts from some "experts" who were there.
Unlike Helen's "declareration in the Time's, Obama is praised and muted in the opinion of these experts. A report that was interesting, informing, ... More »
Why, instead of trying to be Nostradomus,? can't a reporter just report? Why does a reporter, whose job is to report, have to put their 2 cents, plus my 10 cents, in every thing they write? You want to write about the Middle East problems, say so, if not, write what your assignment calls for.
Helen, No one, No one, thinks this speech solved the problems of the Middle East. It was a "SPEECH", be it a damn good one, Even to compare Bush's ... More »
Will it never end. A quality piece of journalism about the North and South and their relationship, what there is of it. Can't we all just get along?
I hope Kim's son is a little taller than Kim, so he will have no "complex" issues. You never want anyone to die, BUT.
A very well written and fair article of the need for Obama to to give the "Great" speech. It won't happen. Lincoln him self could not deliver a speech to please all the people Bush has alienated.
While Obama can deliver a great speech, "fogetabouit" He is popular at home. 60 % popularity. that still 40 % disapproval. Now, what are his chances ... More »
An interesting insight into the Muslim world. While Obama hasn't been in office long, hasn't really done much in the Middle East, his approval ratings are slightly higher.
In reality, America's popularity couldn't have been much lower. Bush/Cheney didn't do this country any favors
If the Muslim world is looking for a major announcement from the Obama admin., they will be disapointed according to this article. No one should expect any surprises.
Obama has a chance to tell not just the Muslim world, but the whole world that America is on a new path. Just the mention of torture and Gitmo will ... More »
While this story was written by a liberal reporter, it doesn't change the facts that a rogue U.S. Colonel wants to kill reporters who report from the front.
Obama better jump on this idiot with both feet. You cannot have your officer's making policy, especially when it comes to the media, and the murder ... More »
while not knowing this publication very well, it seems like a straight up story. If this happened in the U.S., the ACLU would and should go crazy.

Ms.Razzi points out in this timely, if not too realistic, article, that person's making good money, although they have to work harder with longer hours, will have their dreams fulfilled in an economy that's going nowhere fast.
I would agree with the author, but she doesn't mention having children, raising children and sending then off to college, This has to be part of the ... More »
A well informed article that has unknown but believable sources mapping out Korea's next rocket launch. In such an impoverished nation, I do not see "spontaneous" crowds erupting without someone holding them up.

While supporting Mrs. Sotomayer is great , and she has a compelling story, her credentials are what really matter. Mr Thomas has no where near here experience then, and after all these years on the Court, he still doesn't.

An excellent report on the growing crackdown on , not disidents, but organizations that are charitable in nature. While I admire Mr Mostafaei's spunk, I would not expect his life to be a long one.

This is a well developed story on many fronts. But, which do you choose. If Kim is overthrown, by his own army, you can bet the country will be locked down like never before while they get their ducks in a row, if their is a living duck in North Korea.
