I think it was good journalism. I wasn't aware of the immigration issues facing Canada. How some Canadians are blaming their countries problems on new immigrants.

I agree with Devin. Why is there an issue over immigration in this particular city.? Not renting out to illegal immigrants and getting fined for it if you do, seems like a serious topic. There should be more reporting on who is responsible for giving these fines and people who are receiving these fines. I think this story lack sources.

There are many issues facing U.S. President Barrack Obama, Immigration issues seem to not be in his favor at the moment. The article said a Quinnipiac University poll gives a 48% to 45%, an end to the constitutionally guaranteed practice of granting U.S. citizenship to children born of illegal immigrants. I like how the reporter gave both candidates sides of the story. The fact that one cadidate wants a double layer fence alond the U.S.- Mexico border is interesting.
