As they say in the fine print. Polls can be skewed by the type of question asked. I would like to know the questions asked as well as the result, it would supply the rest of the information.

This is an interesting article that will never see light of day in our mainstream news, unfortunatly. Our columbia drug interdiction has been so succesfull that now Bushco will enrich Blackwater & others with another 1.5 Billion. What a waste.
An interesting bit of hair splitting. Their conclusions were reasonable. I came to the opinion that Obama's pandering would be better left undone for the financial health of the economy, & McCains Lies are more fear mongering. Nice work.
Along with several other articles about McCain, for the last 6 months or so, this paints a more accuret picture of the man who has turned his back on every principle his projected image says he stands for. Great job.
At first this article looked like another puff piece for McCain, that changed into a rather balanced analisys of the three.
This story is largly immaterial, as they imply, the peripheral attack organizations that work hand in glove, while officialy uninvolved will do their hatchet work with impunity. It's a republican art form, although the dems do it also.
This was supposed to an analisys of McCains position? It was more like a Tape recording of his sound bites.
It would be nice to have more depth to the article, but after the last 7 years, I cant deny the truth of the story.
The Bush Admin. has done more damage to America than you can imagine, in a 20 year effort by the most blackhearted villians in history. Spinning government functions to enrich private corperations, is one of the most disturbing.
I was expecting a somewhat less pragmatic report. it was informative & well balanced, It would be nice to see this in more venues.
Why is it that an English newspaper does a more accurate article on the real problem with the McCain Fantasy than you will see in Most American media. Thank you, Guardian.
This was filler, for fillers sake. A talking head, blah blah ect. The republican money machine will kick into gear. they will not give up power easily or legally(Diebold lives). all the article did was make a paycheck.
One thing that has galled me for years, reporters take the hand out from the candidate, pass it on & walk away. No effort is made to " Ask the next question " as Theodore Sturgeon, would say. If no effort is made to elicit information from the candidate you are publishing thin air, not substance. That is how the "Chimp in charge" sold bullshit to America. CNN's reporting is just minimal. At least it is not FAUX.
My problems with a poll based article, are. What questions were asked ? Were they leading to a predetermined conclusion, ect. By framing your question, you can influence the trend of the answer. These polls never give all the information you need to know wether you are being manipulated .
They took the time to evauate previous statments, against current position. It's a fairly common example of McCains recent pursuit of the office.
I'm not that familiar with The New Republic, But I was pleasantly surprised to see some one questioning the consequences of the candidates ideas. This smacks of reporting. not parroting.
