again, the fact that this story is not getting more play is yet another demonstration of the lack of diligent mainstream reporting.
While a tongue-and-cheek piece, I think it still has some merit for deciphering the double-talk of McCain.
Why is it that the 1st Amendment Rights of the Press don't come with a certain degree of responsibility? The Supreme Court has established degrees of responsibility that accompany free speech (i.e. hate speech, fighting words, "yelling fire in a crowded theater", etc.), how can a public media company not be held accountable for misleading and dishonest reporting?
Great breaking news, but I think it is more important as a source of insight into the tactics of the McCain campaign.

A little more context and research could serve this opinion piece well...nonetheless, especially since it is an opinion piece, this is a nice reflection on the nature of McCain's haphazard (and at times nonsensical) political stances.
