I don't think its right that the government are only focusing on education and bills, but i'm not saying that they aren't important. The National Press in Canberra made a statement in their speech that i quite agree with, "The enactment of human rights should be done in a way that unites, rather then divides out community." Australia will continue to lack an adequate legal framework to protect basic rights. And to lack to protect the basic rights of people will and can cause a hue problem.
I find this very sad. The fact that change they made that they thought would of been for the better was actually for the worse. I believe that if their government see that their community is struggling and can barely survive, then they need to do something for their people and especially for the children. Maybe they need to change somethings around or upgrade them, but they should not be suffering like this and not have anyone to do anything about it.
This article doesn't provided a lot of background which makes me think that it isn't good quality of journalism.
I think it was a good idea to collect voices of African people about how they are adapting to the change of their environment. But then again if they are not getting amount of help and support they need to survive this climate change, they will most likely fall apart. Money is hard to get and go around but the fact that they are trying to keep their environment together is good.
I actually never knew that there were any religious problems going on up in the Middle East. Just the fact that people are stripping people rights because they believe in a different god is ridiculous and not right. I mean people live differently, that's life. But it's not fair to sit there and say that these group of people don't have the right for this or that because their religion is different from yours.
I agree with the idea of the United States, United Nations, etc. trying to talk to Iran to get them to convince to come clean about its nuclear ambitions, but Israel planing to take action by bring in their military is effective but not. I believe that there are other ways to solving problems then just bringing violence in to solve it. Violence doesn't solve anything, it just makes thing worst. On the other hand, they are doing what they have to do for protection.
