I believe this is not good journalism. The article is biased. The author takes on a hot debate by showing a recent report about the Knights of Columbus organization and their activities against gay marriage in four states where marriage equality is on the ballot this fall. From there, he immediately takes on one side of the debate and gives some severe criticisms toward the organization with a very strong usage of language. The article includes a link to the report by the Human Rights Campaign and one cited quoted taken from the same report which he uses to bash the organization.

The Townhall gives their audiences some perspectives on the same sex marriage topic in the article " Three Views on Same Sex Marriage". The article of Mike Adams includes 3 different view points on how to look at the gay marriage topic from a conservative, a liberal, and a libertarian. He states that the same sex marriage debate is about politics, not about religious views. The article is rather balanced. Although it is an opinionated piece, the writer doesn't try to take any side in conveying what he believes. But rather informing to the readers different view points to look at the gay marriage topic. The article is written by an author and criminology professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is mainly about ... More »
