Quoted both sides. The Heartland Institute in particular is known for distorting facts to discredit global warming.

Member (since July 2010)I took journalism in high school. Was taught to write facts, be objective. To watch the blatant bias, both liberal and conservative, in the news today, is upsetting. TV/cable news in particular, makes no effort to distinguish between news and opinions.

1. One can no longer trust media commentators on either side of the political spectrum to give us facts, truthful facts. Was true in the 2008 elections, still true today.
2. Walker is not attacking the current budget shortfall, he is concerned about 2012 and beyond, when ... More »
Straight from the injured party. Reminds me of the hack job Bernard Goldberg received from CBS because he exposed the one-sided reporting of the network, and for standing up to King Dan.
This is editorial comments, has nothing to do with objective reporting of facts. I am not sure why this is rated as a 2.0. It should be a zero.
The authors are clear from their wording of the first paragraph which side of the issue they are on. And it colors the rest of the opinion article. If this appeared on the WP opinion page most people will recognize it as such. But many readers will equate the opinion as news. On a side issue, the writers argue against racial profiling. Typical 60 minutes slanted story. Listen to the tone of the reporter. Clearly biased, clearly one-sided. No discussion of how to stop illegals, but rather plays on our emotions to do something about this "horrible canal", do something to make it easier for illegals to enter the country.

Judge voids controversial Wisconsin union law
The story correctly points out that the ruling was in regards to the legislative and constitutional provisions for making laws. The court ruling says nothing about the legality of the intent of the law.
No one should have to belong to a union to have a job.
