I am concerned about my country. As we undergo a explosion of knowledge our local, state and national elected representatives are unable to keepup. We have many needs and few positive results. We need serious changes including improved journalism.

This article covers comprise of Democratic members of the Congress. It is informative and well written. It is sad that abortion is the last issue and that no Republican is likely to vote for this comprise.

This is a well written and most interesting article. I have been aware of this issue for some time. The story confirms what I have learned. Simon and Garfinkel wrote a song called The Boxer. Parts of the words are 'All lies in jest until a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest,'

This is a well written and informative story. Thanks to the Congressional Budget Office, we now know what many assumed the Republican health care plan is lacking. This is in spite of opportunities to provide good options.

I would feel better about this article if it came from another source. Recently the Wall Street Journal has been less than even handed on politically related stories.

This is a somewhat interesting article. It may be important if McDonnell wins, but if he does not the editor and publisher will have egg on the faces. Timing is important for journalist and the timing of this story is not good.

As a farm owner and former operator, I see this story as an example of political issues. Farmers used to be able to change more rapidly than the government. Now, listening to political leaders and television and radio programs has changed the farmers to negative positions. If a farmer is not aware of changes in the environment, their memories have failed. This article makes me sad.

This is an excellent commentary about the Republican Party's continued willingness to eat their young. They have descended further into the depths.

This is a reasonablely well done article. One point missed is the difference from those who are in the trench and and the higher officers who know that they may loose troops but can stiil win.

This is a credible article about the issues between Fox News and the White House. I am a life long Republican that sees the Fox News as a problem and I am not liberal. Too many people think that Fox is news provide that is not the case. Fair is not in there dictionary.

I am not sure this Lt. Colonel is the right person to write an alternative. If he has been in Afghan for long he is more likely part of the problem. To call General McChrystal plan a counterinsurgency effort misses the point badly. His plan is to clear and hold areas to allow the people to put up a local government and set up their local economy. Who does this guy plan to take over the government?

.This commentary is limited to points from the Finance Committee bill the Senate and the three House bills. All the bills are limited and have not look more broadly. Why do this commentary and others fail to look at more ideas? None of these ideas will solve health insurance problems.

This is better journalism than I have ever seen from Fox News. I still am concerned that only a small number of possibly effective ideas are being considered. The interview with Senator John Barrassso shows one reason choices are so limited; The Republican opposition fails to contribute good choices.

This story fails to make the point about public option. I have never heard of a serious look at public option. Some are so sure it will work that they can not hear others concerns. Administration costs are not the main issue of health care and the possible savings are not sure.
