The headline is very biased.

I would have liked to see a little more reporting done on this story. Is Dobbs registered as a Republican? (A quote states his status as an Independent of 2006-- has that changed) Also, who started the rumors? Not a very balanced piece.

The story buries the lede. You don't find out why Stern was fired by NPR until the final few paragraphs.

There is no mention of sites like this that already exist. There are also a lot of unknowns presented in the article: lack of detail about the investor, number of bloggers each state will aggregate, the site's editors will be anonymous. The story would have been a lot more interesting if the journalist could have dug a little more for this information.
