The NewsTrust format and idea are interesting for the possibility of a democraticly influenced news source. It provides another channel for getting news and views out to the public, a channel without a visible filter of the corporate press.

In "Pax Americana" the former head of US missile defense calls it the biggest con job ever. The Russian positioning implies a fear that the missile defense could work. This maps into Kennedy's stated fear that some miscalculation or insanity could result in annihilation of life on the planet. All nuclear weapons need to be removed and destroyed. Society has to evolve or die from it's military disease.
