Although our system is not quite as corrupted and venal as was the "Gilded Age", this is a helpful discussion that brings forward commonalities in public memes between the present and that time.
I think its helpful to show how several contemporary political heroes made up a Utopian past and gained support for a future based on that fiction.

This is .. mind boggling. Written in a very factual voice, conveys truly frightening information in a factual manner

Especially when compared to the far more balanced Salon article just reviewed, this is a clearly persuasive and ill supported support for wind power and the enormous infrastructure investment that would be required to support that technology.

Even though this may seem like a persuasive article, it's primarily based on rational review of cost effectiveness as compared to need/reward. Very well done.

While the article appears to be a recitation of little known facts, the great weight of the articles word count and phrase count is to bring shame on BP. The slant is so strong that any factual revelations are lost in it.

By going to the source, and gaining information from those who are living the situation, this article has far more credibility than anything written from assumptions or statistics.

This is much less journalism than an interview of an author who is plugging his latest book. A synopsis of the book is offered by the author, and the interviewer presents no challenging questions, only softballs. Interesting topic.

Again, a red hot topic and it's given a news summary treatment. What gives?
This topic is something that I believe we'll be seeing a lot more of over the next ten years.
