Very lazy "journalism." Seems agenda driven. By the logic of the article, any VP selection could be considered to show a "lack of confidence." One of the worst I've seen and the AP should be called on it.
Obviously pro-Obama but nonetheless an excellent opinion article. No low blows and excellently argued. He notes correctly (against common knowledge) that the internet revolution is not exclusively owned and manipulated by the young. Well thought out piece; well written.
These kind of stories that strive to tell us how Europe really feels about us, Bush and/or Obama are ambitious at best. The author does a lot of guessing about it all. It reads like an opinion piece. Not necessarily an uninformed opinion, but opinion nonetheless--without any attempt to label it as such or to balance the tone.
Short piece surveying McCain's health plan and its weaknesses. It has a point of view but is clear and well argued.
Unreasonable opinion piece arguing that Bush will be thought better of if Obama wins because the best decision he ever made (the surge) was a stunning success. If McCain wins the McCain takes credit for the surge, stealing the thunder. Horribly shallow argument. To tie Bush's legacy to this one incident is absurd.
Good clean reporting on what McCain has proposed to the Obama campaign and their reaction to it. Well written.
The coverage of McCain's background was extensive and informative. Impressive, actually. I was disappointed in the coverage of Obama's background. This is a very McCain focused article although it purports to be about the background of both men.
