Not news but a very disturbing analysis of the behavior of Congress and the Press when faced with a secretive and unscrupulous administration.

Sad but probably true. Better for the "Enquirer" to put it out today than for the republicans to use it after Edwards is proposed for a cabinet position. What is it with these people?
More a "review article" than a "report," but a fair analysis of the so-called Obama flip-flops. It would have been more balanced (but much longer) if equal space had been given to examining McCain's much more substantial changes in position.
It's a personal examination of conscience, but it brings up points that are worth remembering for all.
Good (if short) history of How It All Happened. Looks very reliable and has already cleared up a couple of misconceptions for me.

Arianna Huffington on How John McCain Has Changed Since Telling Her He Didn't Vote for Bush in 2000

Gets one of the principals to tell her own story. A lot of it is "what I felt" but there's a lot of information that can be corroborated. I think people feel shy about looking too closely at John McCain. Let's get over it.
They should have worked out the math and explained more explicitly that leading by 8 points on 10% of the vote (total vote around 1.26 million) means an extra margin of about 9500 votes, and that Clinton was the winner even without the Republican cross-overs.
Excellent piece. An important examination of how competing ideologies have to coexist in a functioning democracy.
Excellent! Jamieson looks at the campaigns as campaigns, as if watching bugs battle in a jar. A very useful if somewhat olympian perspective.
Eloquent statement of an important problem: entertainment vs. enlightenment and information in the american media.
