Help

I found NewsTrust when I was searching for ideas and ways to implement this cool idea I had for rating online content in such a way as to increase confidence in its correctness.

Well what do you know, someone has already done it. It saves me a bunch of development, and I'm very glad to be involved with something that aligns with my desire for truth in media. So many of the worlds problems can be solved if we just have the facts. Controlling of information is generally A Bad Thing.

It's editorial, but it made me smile, and for that, I consider it a great article. Humor and satire are important.

This is not news that I've seen elsewhere, so it seemed like a useful thing to highlight. It's basically a numbers analysis, but the key thing here is that it's a supposedly 'safe' republican seat that is close to switching sides.

A well-written piece of prose that provokes a moment of thought.

My review refers to the Jon Stewart clip which constitutes almost the entire article.

The article doesn't provide a great deal of information about the alternatives to this new method. If one weren't well informed about the subject it would be easy to be snowed by the figures. The most important point made is that for every spam blocking technique developed, the spammers develop a countermeasure. Opus One is not an independent consultancy I have heard of, and I am in this business.

I'm not sure why this is reported as being other than editorial. While my politics may in part agree with the writer, the way this is presented doesn't ring as good journalism to me.

Since the story is basically a transcript of Keith Olbermann's 'special comment' segment on his show "Countdown", the accuracy of the *article* is almost 100% because it reports almost exactly the original words (modulus a few spelling errors). It's worth noting that this same content is also posted on Olbermann's own part of the MSNBC website, in the "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" pages, as are many (possibly all) of Olbermann's "Special comments"

It's good to see a relatively liberal news source try to challenge the accepted image of Secretary Rice by her dissenters. It's always good to persuade people to think about more angles on something.

This story is very difficult to read. It hops around too much and is more a series of statements than a cohesive report.

While the article's standards seemed higher than many popular media, I felt that it didn't clearly explain its sources; names were mentioned but it wasn't obvious which facts went with which source. Fairness was ambivalent since it doesn't demonstrate that the gender imbalance has changed since *before* the one-child policy.
