Add NewsTrust to your Google home page! It's a great way to get our feeds of top-rated news and opinions on iGoogle.

You can customize your NewsTrust gadget to view stories by topic, pick the number of stories -- and show more info like authors, quotes and star ratings. (if you don't have iGoogle yet, set it up here.)

To get started, follow these easy steps:

1. Add NewsTrust to iGoogle:

2. Customize your Gadget:
The NewsTrust Gadget can be personalized to fit your preferences, with these key features:

  • separate tabs for news and opinion
  • topic drop-down menu
  • personal settings menu
  • number of stories to show
  • story display options
  • tab display options
To select a topic, click on the drop-down menu at the top right corner (set to 'Top Stories' by default).

For other settings, click on the 'Settings' tab to select the number of stories, or change story display options. These let you select which story elements to show in your widget: story date, story type, publication, ratings, authors, story quote, etc.

To customize your tabs, click on the triangle next to 'tab dispaly options', which lets you select different listing types (e.g.: 'Today's Picks' or 'Top Rated Stories,' and content types (e.g.: News and Opinion) for each tab.

Note that you can review any of the stories listed in your gadget, by clicking on the green 'Review It' links for each story. These links automatically appear in the gadget, as long as you are signed in on the main NewsTrust site (they disappear if you sign out on our site).
